NOTE: It is very important that you work through all of Part 1 of this assignment before you complete Part 2 so that you understand all of the features that are available to you. You do not need to submit the output from Part 1 - submit only the output from Part 2 to your mentor for grading.
Part 1- Read pages EX 1 - EX 64 in the laboratory textbook, Microsoft Office 2010: Essential Complete Labs 1, 2, and 3 on pages EX 58 - EX 63
Part 2- As a part of the final project for this course you will be doing research for a medium size (approximately 200 employees) widget manufacturing company to do a complete evaluation of their computer needs and make recommendations to them about an information system to support their business. Currently several of their support departments are using manual processes and they wish to automate their accounting and human resources business processes. They also want to harness the power of the Internet in their business.
