As a network consultant, you have been asked to analyze the network at a home made pies factory. The company has grown considerably since its inception six years ago, users reguarly complain about poor network performance, particularly in the morning. The owner, asks you to analyze the network and server placements and then make recommendations.
-A Novell NetWare server processes the user logons. It has a single 4 Mbps Token Ring Network Adapter
-A Windows NT 4.0 Server runs the SQL database. This is on a 16 Mbps Token Ring network adapater on the same ring as the NetWare server.
-A bridge appears to attach the server room servers on a Token Ring Network to the user's Ethernet star topology. Last year, they had another consultant install the workstations with Ethernet adapters capable of up to 100 Mbps, but slow demand for pies restricted the budget to perform any more improvements.
Given these findings, what would you recommend?
