In class, we read "What Isn't For Sale?" by Michael Sandel, Atlantic Monthly, February 27, 2012. Sandel expressed concern that markets had become detached from morals, and that market values had superseded other values which may be more appropriate to particular situations. Is it ethical to sell Young Adult books with graphic themes and stories when children/adolescents could buy them and read them? In your answer, consider what is the age where childhood ends and young adulthood begins. Articulate where "the line should be drawn" between what is acceptable and what is not acceptable to sell, and to whom.
