Problem
A reliable friend of yours works for a charity that aims at relieving hunger in an impoverished African village. She tells you that you can feed a family of four for a month if you give ten dollars. If you don't give the money, they will all be dead in a matter of days. Since your friend is giving all her free money to other needy families, she has no available resources to help this family. Are you morally obligated to give ten dollars (or more) to her charity? Discuss why or why not?
