Problem: Think about any relationship that you want to analyze between 2 variables and answer the following. Note the relationships should make sense and there should be a possibility of causality between them. The folder "Research Papers using Econometrics" has some ideas for your reference but try to make up your own examples.
a) What are your x and y variables?
b) Are x and y quantitative or categorical variables?
c) How would you measure these variables? Please be specific.
d) How would you go about collecting data on these variables - survey or use available data or collect data in a lab setting? Also, state and explain whether this will be experimental or non-experimental data.
e) Will this be cross sectional, time series, repeated cross sectional, or panel data? Explain.
