In the United States, a number of employment laws have been enforced to protect workers from being discriminated against, from Title VII of Civil Rights Act of 1964 to Age Discrimination Act, from ADA to Pregnancy Act, from Equal Pay to affirmative action, etc.
Are there any similar employment laws in your own country? Are workers properly protected? If there are no such laws, do you think if there is a need to implement similar laws? Why?
