Problem
You are the Director of a Montessori School and a perspective parent is visiting. I want you to "sell" the Montessori method to the parent WITHOUT being pushy - remember, you have to sell it without all of the jargon that is attached. Parents will get offended if you use the term "normalized" (their child is normal! haha!) The parent brings up 3 main concerns:
• She heard that Montessori is not very structured; the children can do whatever they want;
• The teachers are strict, rude and hardly interact with the children;
• The is concerned about her child (who is 3) working in a classroom with older children that are 6 - aren't they too old to be working with 3 year olds? Isn't that dangerous? What are the benefits to that?
