Assignment task:
Manifesto Of The Communist Party
Marx does not think that the lure of money encourages people to work harder. Since those who earn a lot of money do not work (Marx and Engels 77), and those who work very hard earn almost nothing (Marx and Engels 77). Thus, there is no risk that increasing the worker's quality of life by guaranteeing enough resources for his life (equivalent to everyone in the community) will make him lazy.
1. Are Marx's argument's right that people will continue to work hard, to aspire to excellence, even if they were not offered the possibility of being much more prosperous than others?
2. Or does Marx's arguments for such a regime only encourages people to do the bare minimum every time they come to work?
