Respond to "In this article the author discusses and compares the approval ratings for both former President Trump and President Biden. More specifically examining the approval and disapproval rating for how both presidents handled the issues during the height of the corona virus pandemic. According to the author the public had a higher approval for President Biden at the time of this particular poll. However, this bar graph is incredibly misleading. For starters we are given two separate years 2019 and 2020, almost as if we are looking at the approval ratings for the entirety of each of those years. Except for the fact at the very bottom, in small font and light coloring, we are given the dates of March 3rd-March 8th. This is the actual time frame in which these numbers were collected, so only over a span of 5 days. Other information we are not given is the number of individuals who were polled and what their political affiliation is. If you interview 50 Biden supporters and 15 Trump supporters, or vice versa, is this a true unbiased poll? I believe there could be more transparency when comes to explaining the graph by providing readers with more representation on the interviewees.
