1)- Bible Passages: Exodus 20 and Matthew 5-7

Read the assigned passages and briefly summarize the essence of the story or teaching in your own words. Then write the analysis using information gleaned from your reading the Introduction to the books of the Bible and the footnote materials from the NIV Study Bible, the Discovering the Bible textbook and research from at least one article from OhioLink or other online source. A minimum of ten in-text citations should reflect research from these sources.

Types of information from these sources which may be included are brief descriptions of background information that was most helpful and/or interesting to you in understanding these verses. Search for clarification of concepts you find confusing or unclear. Identify three key commandments and discuss the ways that Jesus interprets the three commandments in Matthew 5-7.

Key to the assignment is the application process. Make specific application of these passages to one or more of the following: the individual, the family, the church or society. In other words, how does Jesus' interpretation of the commandments aid in applying them to your life?

Utilize the footnotes at the bottom of the NIV Study Bible pages to identify some of these.

Key to the assignment is the application process. Make specific application of these passages to two of the following: the individual, the family, the church or society. In other words, what difference would it make if the principles of these scripture passages were taken seriously and lived out by an individual, a family, etc.?

3)- Bible Passages: John 3:1-21 and James 1:1-4, 12-15, 19-21; 2:14-26

Read some of the commentaries on your passages and include two or three observations from these resources that aid in your analysis of the selected passages:

4) - Apply a comprehensive biblical worldview to a major ethical, managerial, or administrative issue in your specific field of business. The final form of the project may take the shape of an essay, PowerPoint presentation, or other multimedia avenue. APA format is required for essays with a minimum of 1500 words. Other presentation submissions must show similar effort.

The content must include:

1. Short discussion of the issue to be analyzed

2. Substantive application of biblical principles to the issue, with biblical references

3. Application of the four foundations of a biblical worldview to the issue

4. Proposed method of personal ethical, managerial, or administrative behavior defined by a biblical worldview
