In the concept of fluids and electrolytes Exemplar: Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) Consider the pathophysiology, etiologies and risk factors to anticipate the clinical manifestations and complications associated with acute kidney injury and differentiate AKI from CKD. Implement health promotion and prevention strategies for clients at risk for AKI. Evaluate assessment findings and laboratory and/or diagnostic test results for a client with an alteration in fluid and electrolyte balance related to AKI.
