Antibiotic for presumptive sinusitis


On July 8th, woman was given the antibiotic for presumptive sinusitis. However, her condition worsened, and she was not capable to eat for 4 days due to her severe pain and tightness of jaw. On July 12th, she was admitted to the hospital with severe facial spams. She reported that on July 5th she had incurred the puncture wound and the base of her big toe; she cleaned the wound but didn’t seek medical attention. What caused her symptoms?
