Assignment task: I'm practicing policy brief and need some help on how to write it and I please need references.
I would like to focus on a pollutant so I'm focusing on coal mining in the U.S.A.
This will include analyzing an ongoing environmental policy problem and propose a new policy solution to it. Assuming my audience is the current U.S. Congress or a particular state legislature and using at least 3 peer-reviewed journal articles or books to explain the importance, impacts, and causes of the problem. This should include why the current policies are not working (the state or federal lows that are not working) and what are they not doing well or not enforcing and other vital information with references.
