Assignment Task: Please write an essay that analyzes the literary work of your own choice. Please follow the guidelines below:
1. Choose a piece of literary work (a fictional piece). It must be a creative piece. You may choose to analyze a poem, a short story, a novella, a novel, or a song.
2. Introductory paragraph should include the title, the author, and a brief summary of the literary work. If appropriate, provide some information about the author. At the end of this paragraph, state the thesis.
3. Supporting paragraphs should list and explain the points you use to support the thesis. In these supporting paragraphs, you need to refer to the work and incorporate relevant texts to support your points/claims. Whenever citing a text, you need to have in-text citation indicating the page number or paragraph number.
4. Concluding paragraph should clearly sum up the major points and restate the thesis statement.
5. Integrate at least two credible sources.
6. Use MLA to format the essay and document sources by including both in-text citations and Works Cited page entries.
7. The essay must be at least 4 full pages.
