Homework: Literature Review
While the implementation plan prepares students to apply their research to the problem or issue they have identified for their capstone change proposal project, the literature review enables students to map out and move into the active planning and development stages of the project.
A literature review analyzes how current research supports the PICOT, as well as identifies what is known and what is not known in the evidence. Students will use the information from the earlier PICOT Statement Paper and Literature Evaluation Table homework to develop a 750 to 1,000 word review that includes the following sections:
I. Title page
II. Introduction section
III. A comparison of research questions
IV. A comparison of sample populations
V. A comparison of the limitations of the study
VI. A conclusion section, incorporating recommendations for further research
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
1. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
