Assignment: Special-Interest Groups
One of our main areas of focus in this session is special-interest groups. This is a topic that we could explore for It's now time to have a discussion with your colleagues on this subject. Choose a special-interest group from a U.S. industry and examine their role in politics. Discuss how that interest group aligns with public choice theory.
Locate a recent article or event (published within the last year) that highlights your relevant microeconomics topic. Use the Hunt Library, newspapers, new stations, or other credible sources to discuss how your topic aligns with microeconomics. Include the following in your discussion:
1) State the article or event you selected.
2) Identify the microeconomic concept(s).
3) Describe your findings.
4) Analyze the relevance to real-life applications.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
