This may include but not limited to the concept of gap analyses, fishbone diagrams (cause and effect diagrams. a) Explain which operations question or process you chose to focus on. Provide background information, context, input, and output. b) From the perspectives of the owners of the process and its intended customers, identify and describe the competitive priorities for this operations process. c) Identify which priorities aren't delivering value for the operation and, if not, what performance gaps exist in them - use a Polar Diagram to illustrate these. d) Identify where performance gaps exist in your operations process by employing the Gap Model.
