I. Summarize key details about your organization. What does it do? Who are its customers, clients, prospects, or constituents? For convenience in this class, we will call them customers.

II. Perform a SWOTT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats & trends) analysis, placing particular emphasis on long-term trends affecting your organization and what your competitors are doing.

III. Analyze the organization's mission statement. Does it address the following core components?

a) Customers-who do we serve?
b) Product/service-what do we provide?
c) Market-who/where are our customers?
d) Core competencies-how do we provide or deliver our product/service? What gives us a competitive advantage?
e) Measurability-how do we know when we are successful?

IV. Defend a new/revised mission statement. It should be a succinct statement of what the organization is, what it does, and who its customers are. Be sure to support why your revisions are an improvement to the current mission statement.

Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:

i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.

ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
