Analyze the causes of the Great Depression and describe the methods used to alleviate it and prevent its return various through Keynesian programs. In doing so, make sure to discuss the following:
1. Laissez Faire capitalism and its flaws
2. Keynesian economic and the ideas of "deficit financing", public works projects and the establishment of regulated capitalism (list a few regulatory programs brought in by government);
3. The New Deal and the "alphabet soup" and the "entitlement programs/welfare state";
4. "Court Packing" attempt by FDR;
5. List various Keynesian programs that followed WWII and what they intended do achieve, including the "52/20", the GI Bill, various other public works project.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
