Discussion Post: Current Events in Wildlife & Fisheries Management
Topics related to wildlife and fisheries conservation and management are often in the news. Find a current event (dated within the last 12 months) that is related to wildlife and fisheries conservation and management; on-line news sites, newspapers, and magazines are great sources for current events.
Once you have chosen your current event article, develop a post about the topic. Use the title of the article as the title of your post. Write one paragraph summarizing the key components of the article (make sure this is in your own words and avoid all forms of plagiarism - DO NOT cut and paste from the article and DO NOT use a string of direct quotes). Write a second paragraph that discusses how the article relates to this course. Then write a short conclusion paragraph where you analyze the article for accuracy and relevance (i.e., how did you decide that the article provided credible information). Make sure to provide the link to the article at the end of your post so that others can read the article as well.
