In Biographia Literaria, Samuel Taylor Coleridge revealed that his role in The Lyrical Ballads was to make the supernatural natural. Keeping that concept in mind, analyze one of the texts that we have read so far in the semester to argue how you think the author manages to "make the supernatural natural." For your analysis, consider the attitude of acceptance or rejection of the ghostly presence; the imagery, figurative language, or the language employed in the discussion of supernatural occurrences; the characters' or writers' philosophical perspective, such as empiricism, and/or the rhetorical devices the writer or speaker employs.
