Popular opposition to Trait Theory, which focuses on whether a leader is born with specific traits needed to be a leader, the Skills Approach focuses on skills that can be learned. The Style Approach then expands on that idea by focusing on the behaviors of leaders, both with regard to tasks and to relationships.
