Homework: Ethical Systems of Major Religions
Overview
We have looked at seven religions so far in this class. Each has its own ethical system.
Review the definition of ethics in our textbook (Van Voorst, p. 11), your work and the discussions from the past five weeks.?Can you identify any common themes or ideas (ethics) across the ethical systems of the religions?
Instructions
Write 1 to 2 pages reflection in which you:
1) Analyze one main ethic that can be seen across all of the ethical systems and from all seven religions studied thus far. Provide specific details.
2) Explain which two ethics from any of the ethical systems you believe could influence our world the most today and why. Provide specific details and examples.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
