Assignment:Merging Corporate Cultures
Corporate culture has a tremendous influence on organizational success. The issue becomes even more important when two organizations, via merger or acquisition, become one.
Analysis of a corporate merger from the perspective of the impact of corporate culture. In your analysis, be sure to reference your understanding of the levels of organizational culture, the stages of socialization, culture types, and functions of culture in your assessment of why the mergers/acquisitions were or were not successful (or as successful as they appeared to be on paper!)
