Task Description:

You will work individually to analyse and discuss four learning scenarios and settings provided in video format. You will draw on learning theories encountered in the course to devise a written commentary, including a synthesized, critical analysis of the scenario/setting:
1. Behavioural views of learning,
2. Cognitive explanations of learning,
3. Humanist approaches to learning.
You will critically reflect on observation of learning and teaching practices and how they might influence a development of your professional identity.
Who am I? Where am I as a teacher?
This task will entail:
a set of four videos of learning and teaching practices as the main stimuli for your video analysis;
a template with guiding questions that require you to apply your knowledge about how students learn by drawing on a range of learning theories;
critical reflection on observation of practices and how they might influence a development of your professional identity.
