An important role is played by development and training in organization's effectiveness. This makes the process of development and training of employees an important element in Human Resource Practices and the field as well as the implications of this approach leads an organization towards effective productivity, safety and health and also employee's personal development. Each organization employs employees and takes care of their needs to get trained and to develop. Most organizations have needs that are cognizant and others invest in resources for development and training. Such investments can take any form such as specialist trainers or paying salaries to employees for attaining development and learning in an enhanced way. This approach does take resource and time but the essence lies in the result which it prepares in the end and that is with regard to good practice of management for maintaining the expertise in suitable way in the current and also in the future.
Introduction:
The aim of this paper, from this perspective is to reflect on various cultural theories and the impact of the same on organizations. In addition, this report addresses multi-national companies and the role of expatriates. The first part examines culture, its importance and its understand from two important cultural models (Trompanaars and Hofstede theories). and the second part provides a description of MNCs and the role of expatriates.
