LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. To deliver an oral presentation on the project as it stands (completed or not)
2. To be capable of critical, reflective and creative thinking and evaluation
3. To demonstrate a high level of proficiency in oral communication skills.
Requirements
An important aspect of project and research work is the ability to discuss your work with colleagues and/or clients. The oral presentation gives you the opportunity to present your ideas to the audience in person during the project seminar.
You will present about your project for 15 to 20 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes for questions.
Your presentation should provide an overview of your project and aim to stimulate discussion amongst the audience.
You must identify one question to pose to the audience, designed to encourage your peers to engage in discussion. This question might relate specifically to your project or to the topic area more generally.
In addition to speaking, you should use appropriate visuals to support your presentation, including PowerPoint slides or videos.
Presentations will take place online in Blackboard Collaborate.
There will be two or three project presentation sessions over two evenings in Week 14. All students are required to attend one of the presentation sessions.
