Question: An experiment is described. Describe a typical outcome, and count the number of outcomes. Determine the number of outcomes in each of the events defined for each experiment. It is not necessary to list all of the outcomes of an event explicitly.
Flip three coins and then roll three dice. Event C consists of all outcomes with three heads and the dice totalling 15. Event D consists of all outcomes with at least two heads and the dice totalling at least 15. Event E consists of all outcomes with exactly one head and only a five or six showing on the each die.
