Although I understand half-cell reactions, I'm puzzled by how to approach the following corrosion reactions...
* Iron in an acid ferric sulfate solution
* Carbon steel in aerated seawater
* Copper in de-aerated seawater
* Zinc-tin alloy in an oxygen saturated solution of cupric chloride, stannic chloride and hydrochloric acid
How do I start these? There must be a "trick". I don't necessarily need these worked out, as much as I need a solid approach. I'm used to problems that I can easily relate to the standard reduction table.
