Problem Statement
All types of industries; whether big or small generate hazardous wastes. But there are some companies which try to get rid of their dangerous waste by simply dumping it illegally. All for saving money at the cost of the environment. It's a threat to our rivers, lakes, air, land, oceans and ultimately to our health, environment and our future ("Ill Effects Of Illegal Dumping Of Hazardous Waste," n.d.). The problem in which Rebecca faces is whether or not to risk her job for her ethical beliefs. Many industries are blamed for cutting lives short by exposing innocent people to dangerous chemicals ("Ill Effects Of Illegal Dumping Of Hazardous Waste," n.d.).
