The company wishes to use "hard" data from tests and "soft" data from surveys.

1. A wear test was conducted on samples of fabric used to cover the model seats in order to simulate passengers sitting down, getting up and sliding around. For model A, 30 samples were tested. The wear out times in hours were:

3.1, 3.7, 3.2, 4.0, 3.1, 4.1, 3.7, 3.8, 3.7, 3.4, 3.5, 3.7, 3.9, 3.2, 3.7, 3.6, 3.8, 3.5, 3.7, 3.6, 4.1, 3.3, 3.2, 3.8, 3.8, 3.5, 3.8, 4.0, 3.9, 3.8
