After reading Uncle Tom's Cabin; would you agree with Abraham Lincoln's comment upon meeting Harriet Beecher Stowe during the American Civil War that she was "the little woman who wrote the book that started this great war?" Be sure to support your answer with specific evidence from her novel and from the textbook, America: a Narrative History.
