a) Was the behavior of the Andes crash survivors deviant or not? Why or why not?
b) Relate their behavior to any one sociological concept as discussed in the Groups chapter OR Deviance and Norms chapter in the Barkan text (Chapters 4 or 5) AND to one of the experiments shown in this week's folder (or mentioned in the lecture).
c) Which theoretical perspective best describes the survivors' behavior and why?
d) Do you think you would do the same under these circumstances? Why or why not?
e) Lastly, present another example in life where people follow others' orders blindly or without question.
