Part A:
1- After reading the article on the Facebook Graph test one or two of these tricks and tell me what worked for you. Did you discover something new about your community or friends? Be specific what you did and what you found out. Do you see value in this tool?

2- You are a social media consultant. The Society of Accountants has approached you about the use of social media. Would you place more importance on the use of Linkedin over Facebook? Why or why not. Would Instagram be helpful? What about Twitter? Rank Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Instagrm, youtube and Tumbr in order of importance. I am curious to see what you guys think. Be creative.
3- Please read the article about VW.
Put yourselves in VW's shoes. How would you go about addressing this 'crime' in social media?
Should they even address this via social media? Why or why not? Or do they just let this case ride out..? Should a company get out in front of 'scandals' via social media?

Part B:
1. Twitter allows you to openly follow difference individuals and brands. Name two individuals and brands on Twitter that would be relevant for the YMCA to follow. Why did you pick them?
2. Your Twitter handle should be short and reflect your brand. Give me three example of good Twitter handles for the YMCA
3. What should the Twitter profile say for the YMCA that reflects their brand?
4. How could the YMCA use LinkedIn? Would you say this is probably the least important of the social media for them and why or why not? What one would you say would be the most important and why?
5. Tell me what happens if you highlight a post on your brands page?
6. Go to the Coca-Cola FB page, did they highlight any posts.
7. Can a brands FB cover photo include pricing information or calls to action?
8. What are the three steps of the FB ecosystem?
9. If you do not have a personal Tumblr account, then consider creating one. Think about what you want to inspire. For me I think I will do one about running, biking and swimming. All of my personal passions. I will use Tumblr to inspire others to be healthy through being active. No need to really create one, unless you want to. Just tell me your POV.
10. The YMCA does not have a Tumblr account. How could the YMCA use Tumblr? Give me their POV.
11. Regarding Instagram, the main YMCA does not have an account. I can perhaps understand that. But for each branch to not have one is a miss. Maybe the main YMCA could curate content from all the branches across the US. What are your thoughts? Anything else?
12. The YMCA does have a YouTube Channel. Not too bad. They do have some followers. But how could they do better at showcasing programs they employ to build communities. And keep in mind they are in NYC, to little old Iowa City to San Francisco.
13. What do you think about LinkedIn for the YMCA? Should it be priority?
14. In the Vine article I share with you, check out the Trident Vine. Love it. For the YMCA, it makes me think of having little children of all different backgrounds and races tumbling from one end to the other in a looped fashion. Give me another great idea to showcase the YMCA in a 7 or 13 second video spot.
