Correct the grammatical error
I advocate for patient by ensuring language translation services are available for those with limited English proficiency to facilitate understanding and engagement in their own care. For example, I had a patient who speaks Italian language, I reached out to the daughter and another nurse who understood what the patient was saying and was able to translate back to English, this facilitate communication between the patient and I. I also advocated for my patient and the family every chance I got, an example would be connecting this family with outside resources and providing patient education every chance I got. Lastly, I try to participate in community health screenings, such as blood pressure checks, focusing on underserved populations to promote health equity. (Potter et al., 2023, pp. 62- 85).
After administering care, I take time to reflect and identify areas for improvement. Stay updated with the latest best practices by reading nursing journals and different nursing text books. As a student in clinical practice, I demonstrate a commitment to excellence in nursing by continuously engaging in learning opportunities and self-improvement. I training sessions to stay current with the latest innovations and technologies in healthcare. Critical inquiry is at the core of my practice; I consistently question and evaluate existing methods in nursing, ensuring that my care is informed by evidence-based practices. I regularly assess and reflect on my clinical experiences to identify areas for improvement and growth. (Zaccagnini & White, 2021).
In my role as a scholar and educator, I implement health promotion and injury prevention strategies by delivering educational sessions that is tailored to patients needs, based on sound evidence and best practices. By doing so, I empower patients with the knowledge they need to make informed health decisions, this enhances their well-being and safety. Through these actions, I contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in nursing practice. For example, I utilized my knowledge of Patient Safety Goals throughout all my patient care experiences. These may include: Using two ways to identify patients, ensure alarms are heard and responded to on time, Proper hand washing, find out which residents are most likely to fall, and record and pass along correct information about a patients.
