A CM receives a phone call from a homeowner advising that the courier delivering medicine to their home, has just driven into their garage door. The CM is in the neighborhood and is able to quickly attend to the site. The CM sees that the vehicle is still onsite and has actually driven into the brick wall that separate two owner's garages. The CM has received training on masonry wall construction and understands that in most cases, the brick is not actually structural. The courier has advised that they are willing to pay for the damage. The CM must decide if they should just call a contractor to come and make the necessary repairs quickly, or if they should contact the corporation's engineer to determine if structural damage has occurred.
