The social workers link immigrants to various social, economic, and health resources within the border community.
Coordination between these various resources (some of which overlap) is limited and creates challenges in providing the most efficient and timely assistance to immigrants. To address these issues, your agency has asked you to organize a task group made up of representatives from different local organizations that provide health and social services to immigrants (three food banks, a federally qualified health center, volunteer interpreters, educational assistance, housing assistance, an employment agency, and churches that provide financial assistance).
Choose one type of task group model (from Chapter 12) and explain why it best addresses the issue of resource coordination among agencies.
