Question: 1. Add up all the numbers in the third row of Pascal's triangle. Do it again with the fifth row and with the sixth row. (Now do you believe that the sum will be 2n?)
2. Look at the binomial theorem and see if you can use it to prove that the sum across row n of Pascal's triangle is 2n. Try for at least two minutes.
3. Cover your eyes and wait 30 seconds.
