Problem: CarrGlen is a private equity company specialising in the acquisition and management of homes in the community for children with complex care needs. It has integrated its care homes within the organisation and provides a high quality central service to drive profitability of individual homes and the group as a whole. Its growth now faces a number of challenges but it has entered into discussions with a major investment and asset management company and formed an investment of £30 million in a 20% equity deal.
