Operation Ghost
The last chapter of your text deals with controlling organized crime. There are several federal statutes that give law enforcement the authority to indict criminal organizations but this week you are going learn about something a little different. This assignment shows how the FBI brought down a spy ring, a different kind of organized crime.
Look at the extraordinary work of several federal agencies in this case. I first heard about these cases by watching FBI Declassified on television and the agents discussed how they made these cases and their years of work. FBI Declassified was a new series on TV but I only saw one season so I don't know if it is still on. If you can find it the different declassified crimes was fascinating.
