Frank and Freddie (see previous problem) have decided to try a new free throw drill. Tonight they will shoot free throws until they make 5 in a row.
a) What is the probability that Freddie will leave without missing a shot?
b) What is the probability that Freddie will miss exactly one shot?
c) What is the probability that Freddie will miss more than one shot before leaving?
d) Let X be the number of free throws that Freddie misses. Make a plot of the pmf for X (over a reasonable range of values - in theory there is no limit to the number of misses he could have).
e) Repeat the questions above for Frank.
