b) A coastal town has a resident population of 8000 people during the winter months (March - November) and During the summer months (December - February) the town population enhances to 12000 due to holiday makers. The population growth rate was expected to be 1.5% per year for resident population and 2.5% for holiday makers during the design period of 25 years.
i. Measured the winter and summer population at the end of the design period.
ii. Suppose an average daily water demand of 350 L/person/day during winter months and 700 L/person/day during summer months, calculate the annual water demand on the water supply system at the finish of the design period.
