(a) Use the chi-square test to compare their outage rates.
(b) Use the log likelihood ratio test to compare their outage rates.
(c) Calculate the pooled ML estimate of the common outage rate.
(d) Calculate two-sided (approximate) 95% confidence limits for the common outage rate.
(e) Calculate (exact) two-sided (approximate) 90% prediction limits for the total number of outages on the four lines in a coming year.
