Fiedler's Contingency Model
Hersey and Blanchard's Situational Leadership Model
House's Path-Goal Model
Research and select a leadership style which your department will then train all of the leaders within the organization to use in their daily management of staff.
The assignment has two deliverables:
Prepare a 3 page management memorandum to the Board and Executive Team, to include:
A summary of your research findings, and rationale for your chosen model.
A plan for how you want to apply the chosen model to the organization.
A high level outline of the rollout plan, with timelines.
Make sure that your summary effectively argues how the chosen style will suit the organization and will help the organization get to the "next level" of success. This deliverable should take the form of a memorandum.
