A study was conducted to examine the professional behavior of dental hygienists. Information was available on whether they read professional journal articles on a regular basis and the number of years that they had been in practice. The question of interest is: Have people who read journal articles in their field on a regular basis been in practice longer than people who do not regularly read journal articles?
