A soccer player kicks a ball toward a wall 15.0 m away, with velocity 25.0 m/s at 30.0 above the horizontal.

a.) Determine how high up the opposite wall the ball hits, and nd the impact velocity.

b.) The ball bounces back toward the kicker. However, some of the ball's momentum is lost in the collision; assume that the velocity immediately after the bounce is exactly half the impact velocity. Also assume the horizontal component of the velocity ips direction (sign), but that the direction (sign) of the vertical velocity is unchanged. Determine where the ball hits the ground. Does the ball land between the kicker and the wall, or does it land behind the kicker?

c.) Make a sketch of the trajectory of the soccer ball, from when it is kicked, to where it hits the wall, to when it strikes the ground. Pick one point along the trajectory and sketch the velocity vector and the acceleration vector at that point.

d.) Draw ax(t), ay(t), vx(t), vy(t), x(t) and y(t) curves for the ball. Ignore the very short time the ball is in contact with the wall. Label axes with units and numerical values. Label slopes on segments that are straight, and make sure the segments that are curved have the correct concavity.
