Based on the following definitions of stereospecifc and stereoselective, propose a reaction that is stereospecific but NOT stereoselective
Stereospecific:A reaction is stereospecific if the reactive site(s) of the reactant is/are stereogenic and each reactant stereoisomer forms a different stereoisomer (or a different set of stereoisomers) (p 382). The reactive site is defined as the center(s) that is/are undergoing a chemical transformation (e.g., change in functional group, substituents, oxidation states etc.)
Stereoselective: A reaction is stereoselective when one stereoisomer is formed more than another.
