A perfect conductor with bias voltage Vo is insulated with a wedge shaped dielectric material of angle, =450, whose relative permittivity is εr. Use electrostatic boundary conditions to determine the electric displacement, D, and electric field intensity, E, in conductor, the dielectric and the air (εair=1) above the material. Determine the angle at which the electric field exits the dielectric and enters the air. Full credit will only be given to those that start from Maxwell's equations and derive the conditions required to satisfy the problem at each step.
