A lead-tin alloy of composition 80 wt%Sn-20 wt% Pb is slowly cooled from 300 oC to 182 oC, do the following:
(i) Draw schematically the microstructure of such an alloy.
(ii) Determine the mass fraction of alpha and beta phases.
(iii) Determine the mass fraction of primary beta and eutectic microconstituents.
(iv) Determine the mass fraction of beta phase in the eutectic microconstituent.
