Complements and Conditional Probability
A homeowner finds that there is a 0.15 probability that a flashlight does not work when turned on.
1.If she has three flashlights, find the probability that at least one of them works when there is a power failure.
2. Find the probability that the second flashlight works given that the first flashlight works.
Each answer must be explained in detail using the proper vocabulary to receive full credit!
Part 1 is the Probability of "at least 1".
Part 2 is stated as a Conditional Probability, but how you work it depends on if each flashlight working is dependent on or independent of the second flashlight working.
